Managing multiple agile teams in a complex architecture like microservice-based system is challenging. But the challenge escalates when there are multiple solutions available commercially. There arises a need to specify guidelines to align those teams. A basis is needed in order to adopt any of the scaling agile methods. Architectural characteristics along with the crucial quality attributes of a system are important basis for such mapping. In this thesis, steps to carry out this process has been presented along with a case study. Feedback on the method and results have been collected from various stakeholders which shows that it is an easy and quick method to align the scaling agile methods according to architectural needs of the system, but only applicable if the system really needs scaled approach to agile.
