Description

One goal of the SCAM research project is to develop a secure design recommender. Such a recommender must have access to knowledge of secure system design and security requirement classifications in order to give meaningful recommendations on how a security requirement can be fulfilled by which secure design solution.

In this thesis a knowledge base for security design solutions shall be developed. First, the student should conduct a literature review to identify security design solutions and classify them based on several criteria, such as the security properties they are intended to enhance for example. Then, this knowledge shall be implemented in form of a non-exhaustive data store, that can be accessed via an API of a web service.
